Louvain-la-Neuve – Belgium -29 January 2020, EcoXtract®, a product of MINAFIN received the CSR award-during the Responsible Care award ceremony held by France Chimie on January 9 in Paris, France.
With its undeniable sustainable dimension, the revolutionary technology developed by Pennakem, an affiliate of MINAFIN, definitely convinced the jury with several key criteria: a fully bio-based extraction solvent, issued from renewable food by-product which therefore does not require any exploitation of arable land nor participation to deforestation, for the production of clean label oil, plant based protein, aromas and meals for feed, a safe alternative to neurotoxic petro-based extraction solutions. Innovation and entrepreneurship should be used to achieve a more sustainable, safer world, for consumers as well as for workers.
