The Minafin group now has a new pool of minority financial investors incorporating Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, Siparex, CM-CIC Investissement and Croissance Nord-Pas de Calais.

Founded in 2004 by Frédéric Gauchet, Minafin is an international group operating in the chemicals sector, including associated services. The group is mainly active in the development and industrial production of active pharmaceutical ingredients and key components used in the life sciences and high-tech sectors. With an expansive range of expertise and proprietary technologies structured around 5 distinct brands, Minafin has established itself as a chemicals specialist in each of its activity sectors. Since its founding the group has enjoyed strong growth, both organic and external. Currently located in Europe and the USA, Minafin posted consolidated revenue of 159 million euros in 2016.

This capital restructuring offers liquidity to the current minority financial shareholders, namely Matignon Investissement, CM-CIC Investissement, Croissance Nord-Pas de Calais and Cathay Capital, refreshing the composition of the group’s financial shareholders.

Frédéric Gauchet, chairman of the Minafin group, said: “I am delighted with the interest shown in the Minafin group by the new investors, Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners and Siparex, which will provide complementary experience to pursue the development of the group. On behalf of the management, I would also like to thank Matignon Investissement and Cathay Capital who have supported our industrial project with great conviction, as well as CM-CIC Investissement and Croissance Nord-Pas de Calais who have renewed their confidence in us by participating in this fundraising round.”
